Lights at Temple Square

This year we made it to Salt Lake to meet my mom and see the lights at Temple Square, which we haven't done in a few years (click if you want to read a little of what that's all about). We saw the life-size Nativity statues, and walked around. Hopefully the kids enjoyed it. Samuel was in a hyper mood, running around, climbing on everything, and insisting on going the opposite direction from where we were going (into the mass crowds of people). Zac and I were exasperated and we left sooner than we would have otherwise (it was also frrrr -eezing cold). But such is our life.

At least I like to look at the nice pictures I took. Then I can imagine it was the peaceful, serene and beautiful excursion that we might dream it could be.

(p.s. Click here if you are curious to read more about the temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints: Temples)

That's the joy of pictures, if you only add the good ones, someday looking back you'll remember it all as good times. And that's what your kids will remember anyway. :)
