Days 10 and 11: through the bug-splattered windshield, part two

On the way home, we took the more southern route on I-70 instead of I-80 (at least initially).

So we drove through Indiana into Illinois:

and into Missouri (look, the top of my head! That may be the only glimpse of me you'll see in these vacation pics - hahaha):

Samuel was running a fever and threw up all over himself in the car. That was an adventure (why must at least one child always get sick on vacation?!?).

And then into Nebraska where we stayed the night in Kearney - with a pool - Hallelujah!!! (and back up to I-80).
