Alright, so I read 34 books in these past 2 months. You might say I got kind of overzealous about the possibility of meeting my "100 Books in a Year" goal. hehehe. And although it is true that 12 of these would be considered "Young Adult" books, that still leaves 22 "Adult" books, which I feel is still a respectable number. Wouldn't you agree? ;)
I managed to squeeze in 10 non-fiction books (ranging topics such as brain strokes, giant waves, time management, gospel living, the story of a nature conservationist, and a year of eating only locally produced food). I also read 2 rather heavy classics (The Count of Monte Cristo and The Age of Innocence) and one whopper of a 900 pg book (The Historian). So. I just would hate to be accused of only reading fluff in getting to 100 books. Just don't even try it. hehe.
So here's the list. I've starred my favorites that I rated "5 stars." (But do keep in mind, a lot of the others merited 4 stars and are still really good books. I just liked these ones even better.)
Anyway - 6 more books before the end of December to reach 100!! Easy peasy! What should I do to celebrate when I get there?!?
Happy Reading to you all. (And of course I am always up for recommendations, or thoughts on any of these.) :)

Oh man, I would be pretty pleased with myself for reading one book a month. This is very impressive!
I think you deserve a Kindle or Nook for reading 100 books in a year.:)
