Gah! After all that work, I was told that I used too many characters. My totals were 52 read in their entirety and 5 partially read.
I think I've read 25. And wait, wait - you've never read Hamlet??? HOW is it possible that through high school and college and reading 100 books a year you have not read Hamlet?
Heather, I've read a few Shakespeare plays (Othello for HS English) - but yeah I don't think I've read Hamlet. It's on my to read list now! :)
There are a couple others (Lord of the Flies for one) that I think I may have read but I don't remember for sure, so I left it off.
And Colleen, 52 is very impressive. ;)
32 definites, 4 or 5 that I started and several others that I am fairly certain I have read but can't quite remember.
53. What a strange list.
Apparently I am your dumb friend b/c I've only read 22. But I read #92 in the original French. I'm surprised at some that I have read that you haven't. The Bible for one. I started the OT the day I started grad school because I'd never read the whole thing and I thought I should. It took me longer to read the whole thing than it took to get my MS. A couple others I read in my youth and liked (Anne of Green Gables -- how have you not read it??) and a couple I read for school or book group and don't recommend (Brave New World, Lord of the Flies, Bridget Jones's Diary). There are several on the list that I would like to read but I read too slowly and as long as I'm in a book group I'll never have time to read them unless someone them for the group to read. It's definitely an interesting list!
